WebbRx Accounting partners with independent pharmacies to provide accurate and timely financial information on a monthly basis. We partner with you and your existing trusted advisors, such as your tax accountant, financial advisor, etc. to provide you the financial information and answers needed in a collaborative fashion that enables you to make educated decisions about your business.
With previously being a part of a pharmacy group, we understand the daily challenges and industry shifts in pharmacies. In addition to financial guidance, we can provide you operational insights based on those previous experiences.
Our accountants build strong relationships with our clients, serving as a quick source of assistance whenever needed and through detailed monthly calls in which we review your financial statements with you and your team.
ROBIN WEBB, CPA
CEO/Owner
Prior to WebbRx Accounting, Robin served as CFO for GRX Holdings, LLC, a privately held company in West Des Moines, Iowa, which owns thirty independent retail pharmacies throughout Iowa. Additionally, in 2014, while in her role with GRX Holdings, she started an accounting services division called GRX Accounting, which provided accounting and financial statement services to independent retail pharmacies throughout the United States as well as a variety of small to mid-sized businesses.
In October 2022, Robin purchased GRX Accounting and rebranded it as WebbRx Accounting, continuing to serve independent retail pharmacies and a variety of small to mid-sized businesses.
Prior to GRX Holdings, Robin held a number of senior leadership roles including ten years with Medicap Pharmacies, Inc. and Medicine Shoppe International as Controller and Director, Franchise Accounting, respectively.
EDUCATION
Robin received her BS in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
FUN FACTS
Away from WebbRx, Robin is an avid golfer, continuing to compete both individually and in couple’s tournaments with her husband, Doug. Robin and Doug live in Clive, Iowa.
HEIDE MCDANIEL
Accounting Manager
Prior to WebbRx Accounting, Heide worked with pharmacy clients at GRX Accounting, an accounting services division of GRX Holdings, LLC, which provided accounting and financial statement services to independent retail pharmacies throughout the United States as well as a variety of small to mid-sized businesses. Heide was instrumental in the growth of GRX Accounting and is a valued partner to our clients, interacting with them on a regular basis.
Prior to GRX Accounting, Heide was a property accountant with National Management Corporation and Seldin Company.
EDUCATION
Heide received her BS in Accounting and International Business from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas.
FUN FACTS
Away from WebbRx, Heide is involved in several non-profit organizations including the Elks organization and the local soccer organization. Heide enjoys spending time with her family and traveling wherever and whenever she can with her husband, Chris. Heide and Chris live in Altoona, Iowa.
MALISA HAGAN
Accountant
Prior to WebbRx Accounting, Malisa worked as an Accounting Clerk for Brewer Food Service in Des Moines, Iowa where she handled customer invoicing, payables and receivable functions and monthly reconciliations. Prior to that, Malisa served as an Accounting Clerk for National Management Corporation, where she assisted in a variety of accounting functions for 60+ managed properties.
EDUCATION
Malisa received her Specialization in Accounting Certificate from Des Moines Area Community College in 2016 and her Master’s in Secondary Education from Drake University in 1993.
FUN FACTS
A perfect day for Malisa consists of time spent with family or friends, some physical activity, a good book, and a delicious meal. Malisa is a regular volunteer at Clive Community Services. She and her husband, Jeff, live in Clive, IA.
ROBIN WAHLERT
Accountant
Prior to WebbRx Accounting, Robin spent a significant part of her career as a Senior Level Accountant for Willis Auto Campus in Clive, Iowa. Additionally, she has experience as an Accounting Consultant working with small business owners on the installation and integration of accounting software to their specific operations.
EDUCATION
Robin received her BBA in Accounting from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa in 2004.
FUN FACTS
In her free time, Robin enjoys spending time with her family and especially being Nana to her grandchildren. Robin and her husband, John, live in Johnston, IA.
CARA HOLLAND
Accountant/HR Specialist
Prior to working at WebbRx Accounting, Cara was Human Resources Manager for GRX Holdings, LLC, a privately held company in West Des Moines, Iowa, which owns thirty independent retail pharmacies throughout Iowa. In her role at GRX Holdings, she led the Human Resources department managing payroll processes, recruiting and benefit programs and providing HR support services to all employees. Prior to GRX Holdings, Cara was a Senior Associate in the Pharmacy Systems department with Medicap Pharmacies, Inc.
EDUCATION
Cara received her BS degree in Psychology from Iowa State University and completed her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist certification in 2021.

Away from WebbRx, Cara enjoys spending time with her family, including attending her son’s baseball games and daughter’s gymnastics meets. Cara and her family live in Urbandale, IA.
